Shipment

When you spend over €100 euros, no shipping costs will be charged. When you spend up to € 100, € 6.95 for shipping costs will be charged. Our products are packed and shipped with care. However, we cannot take care of the safety or the loss of your product during shipment. You can choose to have your package shipped by registered and insured mail.

Despite the high quality of our products, it can happen that a product breaks down over time. Here you will find information about returning defective products. You can return the products you have purchased from us under certain conditions.

Defect within the warranty period

If your product falls within the warranty period, you can submit an RMA request to us. The product can only be returned to us after our approval. This is done with an RMA (Return Material Authorization) application.

How does the RMA application work?
You can download and fill in an RMA form below. Then send the fully completed RMA form to info@bernsbaitboats.com. We request that you clearly describe the complaint or defect on your request. Your application will be assessed by us. After acceptance, you can send the product including accessories and correct copy invoice to us in proper packaging. This return must be prepaid, so you pay the shipping costs. Once we have received your request, you will receive an RMA number from us.

After receipt
Once we have received your return, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. The product is then tested for the indicated defect. You will then receive the repaired or replacement product as soon as possible. Berns Baitboats can charge handling costs if the product is damaged by the user. If it turns out that the goods supplied by you are not defective, we will charge you at least EUR 35.00 excl. VAT in research costs, depending on the amount of components. We then charge shipping costs of EUR 15.00 excluding VAT. Take into account a repair period of 1 to 3 weeks.

Guarantee
All products are covered by guarantees as stated in the general terms and conditions or the product description. This means that you are entitled to the regular warranty conditions. Do you have a question? Or would you like to claim the warranty? Please contact us by email or on 0031 24 785 1923.

Costs for a repair
If the defect is not covered by the warranty, such as a fall or water damage, war or improper use or the specified warranty period, you will receive a quote. You can then indicate whether you agree with the repair or whether you wish to refrain from further processing. In the latter case, you can get your product back with a possible invoice for research costs and transport costs.
